47 years ago today, Yonatan «Yoni» Netanyahu, brother of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, made the ultimate sacrifice in the Entebbe Operation by rescuing 105 Jewish and Israeli hostages held in Uganda by PFLP terrorists. Yoni, who was just 30 years old, was the only Israeli casualty.
Today, we honor and remember him as the true hero of the Jewish people that he is.
